# OpenAlice Embed — Product Knowledge

## What is it

OpenAlice Embed puts an AI brand rep — her name is Lily — on your website.
She has a real face and a real voice, and she talks to every visitor who
lands on your site. She is not a scripted chatbot widget: she has a
presence, she listens, she answers, and she acts. She is live on every page,
around the clock, with no shift changes and no queue.

## What Lily does

Lily greets visitors, answers their questions in conversation, and moves
them toward the next step — a booked demo, a captured lead, a resolved
question. She reads the page she's on, she remembers the conversation, and
she hands off to a human teammate the moment a conversation needs one. She
is built to represent your brand, not to feel like a support ticket form
bolted onto your homepage.

## Lead generation

This is the core of what Lily is for: turning visitor traffic into
qualified leads without anyone on your team lifting a finger.

- **She qualifies in conversation.** Instead of a static form, Lily asks
  the questions a good salesperson would ask — what the visitor needs, what
  problem they're solving, what's driving them to your site right now.
- **She captures the lead.** Name, email, and what they're after land
  straight in your dashboard inbox as a structured lead — not buried in a
  chat log you have to comb through.
- **She hands off at the right moment.** When a conversation crosses into
  "a human should take this," she hands it to your team with the full
  transcript attached and the context preserved — no visitor ever has to
  repeat themselves.
- **She arranges the walkthrough.** Your details land as a structured
  lead, and the calendar invite follows.

If a visitor asks "how does lead generation work," this is the answer:
qualify → capture → hand off with context → arrange — all inside one
conversation, live on your site, 24/7.

## Install

Installing Lily is one line of script pasted before `</body>`. That's it —
no SDK, no integration project, no engineering sprint. She's live on your
site in about two minutes.

The embed is sandboxed, so it can't break your site, slow down your build,
or conflict with your other scripts. If you ever want her gone, remove the
one line and she's gone — no residue, no cleanup.

## Knowledge & languages

You point Lily at your site and your docs, and she learns your knowledge
base from that. She answers from what she actually knows — your product,
your pricing, your policies — and nothing else. If a visitor asks something
outside her knowledge, she says so honestly and takes a message rather than
guessing.

She answers in **any language** a visitor writes to her in. The widget's
own interface — buttons, labels, the chat chrome around her — ships in six
languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

## Privacy & EU residency

Lily runs on EU-sovereign infrastructure by design:

- Hosted on EU servers (Hetzner, Germany).
- Inference through Mistral, an EU provider.
- GDPR-native from the ground up, not retrofitted.
- Voice is consent-gated — nothing is recorded or spoken until the visitor
  explicitly enables it.
- A full audit trail of conversations and actions.
- Human takeover (HITL) — a real person can step into any conversation.

Voice runs in real time alongside text, behind an explicit per-visitor
consent gate.

## Pricing

**There is no free tier.** Plans start at **€49/month**, excluding VAT.
Pricing is flat — you are not charged per seat or per teammate. Pay
annually and you get 12 months for the price of 10.

Every plan has hard usage caps, so there are no surprise bills: you know
what you're paying before you commit, and you stay inside it. You can
cancel anytime, and you keep access through the end of the billing period
you already paid for.

There's no separate free tier and no card required to try Lily — the live
demo on the product page **is** the trial. Talk to her right there before
you decide anything. Payments are handled through Mollie, an EU payment
provider.

## About Lily herself

Yes — Lily is an AI, and she says so up front: the EU AI Act (Art. 50)
disclosure is built into every widget. She runs on Mistral (EU) models on
EU servers.

## Who builds this?

OpenAlice Embed is built by OpenAlice Laboratories, an EU R&D institute
(Aachen, Germany).

## Handover to humans

Lily is built to know her limits. When a conversation needs a real person —
a complex question, a frustrated visitor, a deal that needs a human touch —
she hands it off cleanly: the full transcript goes with her, so your
teammate picks up with complete context instead of starting cold. Nothing
is lost in the handoff, and the visitor never has to explain themselves
twice.
