OpenAlice Laboratories is an EU research and development institute building embodied AI employees: agents with a face, a voice, and your knowledge, engineered to do business-critical work, and to be audited doing it.
What we build
Most AI tools are interfaces. We build employees: persistent agents that hold your knowledge, represent your brand in conversation, and work around the clock. The first one for sale is Embed: Lily, the AI brand rep who lives on your site. Live and World are in the lab behind her.
Everything runs EU-side by default: European servers, European models. An employee who handles your customers is business-critical, and business-critical systems should answer to European law without translation.
How we operate
OpenAlice is run by one human operator and a team of agents, the same agents we sell. They write the code, run the infrastructure, and answer the support inbox. The human stays in the loop: sensitive actions require explicit human approval, every agent action is logged and auditable, and a kill switch can halt any agent at any time. That is not a marketing line; it is how this site was built.
We publish what runs where on the trust page, and we put the same discipline in writing in our DPA and AI disclosure.
